This chair from Issue 3 of The Stick Chair Journal is a Lincolnshire Windsor chair, the earliest form of Windsor known. Built circa 1737, this chair is oversized, comfortable and straightforward to build.

When you order this product, we mail you full-size patterns printed on an 36" x 24 sheet of paper (folded and placed into a protective envelope). These are ideal for adhering to thin plywood  or hardboard to make permanent patterns. The patterns include locations for joinery and the chair's decorative shapes.

You'll also receive a pdf download of the original article from Issue 3 of The Stick Chair Journal. The article includes the cutting list, all the angles needed and instructions for making the chair with basic tools.
