Plane Pockets & Pencil Pockets
Our USA-made Block Plane Pocket and Pencil Pocket turn an unused corner of your tool chest or tool wall into handy storage for your block plane, pencils, 6” rules and other markers.
Both pockets hang on No. 6 screws (not included) through durable steel grommets. The pockets are sold individually or as as a set (with a modest discount). Both are made from durable canvas (the same stuff we use in our waist apron and tool roll) at Sew Valley in Cincinnati.
The Block Plane Pocket
The block plane pocket is designed to hold a wide variety of planes, including the low-angle and standard-angle models. The pocket opening measures approximately 2-1/2” wide, 2” high and 4-1/2” deep.
The pocket protects the tool and keeps it ready for use. We have them on our tool wall and on the inside of our Dutch tool chest.
The Pencil Pocket
The pencil pocket keeps your marking and measuring tools front and center – so you don’t have to dig in a drawer or a tool till. The pencil pocket measures 7-1/4” wide x 6” tall overall. The five pockets are each 1-1/4” wide x 3-5/8” deep.
