Lost Art Press Hat

For us, one of the most sorely under-appreciated woodworking tools are dividers. These simple devices are the difference between designs that are pleasing and those that are dull – or even awkward. And, like all our favorite woodworking tools, dividers eschew mathematics.

So when we tried to decide what symbol should represent Lost Art Press, the decision was easy. We used the dividers from Joseph Moxon's "Mechanick Exercises" and have emblazoned it on our books, our business cards, our T-shirts and now our hats.

These hats are the best American-made hats we could find. Manufactured by Bayside and embroidered with contrasting thread, these unstructured caps are 100-percent cotton. The hat is adjusted using a steel clasp and cloth band.
