Lost Art Press 'Skep' T-Shirt
This soft, comfortable heather-gray T-shirt is printed in navy blue with the Lost Art Press beehive, or skep, logo. For many years, the skep was the symbol of the industrious joiner or cabinetmaker, and it shows up in woodworking books and on documents throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. (Read more about that here.) After we fleshed out the idea with some preliminary sketches, Ohio artist Joshua Minnich designed the logo.
We looked long and hard to find an American-made shirt that we liked that was soft, had "normal" sizing and didn't cost the moon. This one is a winner! These Tennessee-made shirts feature a tear-away label for comfort, are 90/10 combed ring spun cotton/poly, have a 1x1 rib knit neck, shoulder to shoulder taping and set-in sleeves. They are comfortable out of the box. The screen printing was done just a few blocks from our shop in Covington, Ky.
We have sizes S through XXXL (see below for measurements)
